A boutique Wealth Management firm is looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to join their team in Malta. You will support the Investment Operations Manager with an array of duties including VAV and FX Hedging. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as an escalation point for the Investment Operations’ Team Members for Queries and Issues during the Operations Manager’s absence or as agreed

Assisting other colleagues by acting as a point of reference to enable sharing of knowledge in key areas of expertise.

Monitoring, supporting and actively delivering the day-to-day operational support functions either directly and/or through the Operations Team members such duties including:
- Fund NAV reconciliation
- FX Hedging
- Fund payment processing and bank reconciliation
- Fund documentation control and filing
- Funds audited financial statements and liaising with external auditors
- Monthly accruals analysis
- Due Diligence Questionnaire
- Quarterly board meetings packs
- AIFM reporting
- Various reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Various application forms such as new bank accounts and fund codes
- Support the Investment Operations Manager by identifying, planning and implementing reviews and updates to Operations Procedures and Funds’ Authorised Signatory Lists
- Build, contribute to and maintain strong relationships with all service providers including Assisting in the management of dispute resolution process with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Investment Operations Manager on various processes/projects including where required to act as the lead and/or implementer and trainer of new or updated processes. Ensuring planned and successful roll out contributing towards the achievement of individuals and team goals
- Proactively identify areas of concern and suggest enhancements to procedures where weaknesses are identified
- Deputize where required for the Investment Operations Manager during leave or absences
- Ad Hoc Projects as instructed by the Investment Operations Manager
CANDIDATE PROFILE

An eye for detail

A good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Especially Excel and MS Word)

Experience in NAV and FX Hedging

At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role

Strong oral and written communication skills priority language of English

Proactive and can work to own initiative
