The ideal candidate will preferably be warranted in Maltese Law with experience in a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Take an active participation in handling civil and commercial law disputes as well as representing clients before the Maltese Courts and Arbitration Tribunals

Negotiating in civil and commercial law disputes

Providing legal advice to clients of the firm predominantly on aspects of real estate, construction, employment, civil and commercial law

Assisting with drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements
-
Assisting with drafting and reviewing of employment contracts, settlement, and termination agreements, share incentive agreements, posting arrangements, and non-disclosure/non-compete agreements

Assisting with drafting and reviewing and providing advice on promise of sale agreements, contracts of sale or lease agreements

Providing legal services in connection with high profile transactions for developers, contractors, subcontractors, and leading consultants both locally and internationally
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Minimum of 3 years previous experience within a similar position
-
Warranted under Maltese Law
-
Excellent understanding of Maltese Civil, Commercial and Employment Law
-
Previously acted on behalf of clients before the Maltese Courts
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Maltese and English

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
