GRS Recruitment is working closely with a well-established Wealth Management company operating across corporate, real estate, and investment services sectors, who are seeking to hire a Legal Advisor to join their growing in-house legal function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cyprus-qualified lawyer with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience to transition into a dynamic in-house environment, supporting a broad range of legal, commercial, and regulatory matters within a fast-paced and evolving business.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including consultancy and services agreements
  • Prepare, review, and advise on tenancy agreements, licence-to-use agreements, property management agreements, and other real estate-related documentation
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters affecting both the company and its clients
  • Assist with employment-related matters, including drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and internal documentation
  • Prepare GDPR-related documentation and support ongoing data protection compliance
  • Support day-to-day legal queries across the business, providing practical and commercially focused legal advice
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and relevant authorities where required
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Qualified lawyer admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association
  • 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with a background in both law firm practice and in-house legal exposure
  • Strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Knowledge or exposure to real estate transactions and related documentation will be considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data protection compliance
  • Exposure to CySEC-regulated environments will be considered an advantage (not essential)
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with a pragmatic and commercial approach to legal advice
