GRS Recruitment is working in partnership with a growing company based in Limassol who are searching for an Office Controller to join the team. For this role we are looking for someone who wants to learn, develop and become part of an international team. The successful candidate will offer some experience working within an administrative position who is looking for a long-term career. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Daily accounting entries and managing all accounting transactions
  • Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
  • Processing tax payments and returns
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Extract and able to read balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Liaising with different parties, locally but mostly abroad for the day-to-day operations
  • Assist with accounting process by preparing and sending invoices; maintain client & supplier databases; track accounts; oversee the invoice workflow, and assist with monthly payroll
  • Update spreadsheets and system entries as requested
  • Follow agreements and legal documents
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Passion with numbers and stats
  • Relevant Hospitality relation
  • Able to analyze numbers and deep dive into detailed analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Fluent in English (Any other languages will be considered as an advantage)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, especially Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Organized and ready to perform tasks that are outside the daily workflow
  • Positive and happy mindset
