The successful candidate must be a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association with 3-5 years post qualification experience in civil and/or criminal litigation. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Representation of clients before civil and criminal courts and conduct of court hearings.

Drafting of pleadings, applications, legal opinions and other legal documents.

Providing legal advice.

Undertaking legal research.

Submission of documents on the online portal

Liaising with external parties, intermediaries and clients
CANDIDATE PROFILE

University Law Degree with a grade of at least 2:1 or similar classification.

Lawyer qualification from the Cyprus Bar Association.

3-5 years post qualification experience in civil and/or criminal litigation.

Excellent command of the English and Greek languages.

Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Excellent drafting and advocacy skills.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting.

Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.

Strong team orientation, ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and/or alone.

Knowledge of banking and/or property and/or contract and/or family and/or criminal and/or immigration and/or administrative law will be considered an advantage.
